CEFA

I have seen on some Business Cards the title of CEFA.
Does anyone have any idea how common it is and if anyone still pursues it?
Obviously I can get a background of what it is on google, but anyone know more details like if they still have a lot of members and if a lot of people are pursuing it. How different are the materials the the CFA cirriculum and why do they offer something similar to the CFA.

When I google “CEFA” I get British Columbia and Alberta preschool and child care services. I also get Central European Fair Alliance.
