CFA approved Financial and Valuation Modeling course

Never heard of these guys. My recommendation: stick with Breaking Into Wall Street. It is the best value for the money.
I have used Wall Street Prep, Training the Street, and Breaking Into Wall Street at various times of my career. WSP and TTS are great if someone else is paying for your use. Otherwise, I recommend BIWS.

Aren’t they both $500 for the premium package? What am I missing on the value part for BiWS

Well I’ve just had to purchase BIWS Numi and I can say I am very impressed. I bought the Excel and Fundamentals course because I just want to learn how to create some plain vanilla models of my own and so far so good.
The course this thread was about turned out to be absolute garbage. The guy who takes it doesn’t have the best grasp of the english language, and the actual excel files did not match the videos for the financial modelling part of the course (which made it very confusing to follow!). Unfortunately, I will not be able to get a refund either because I didn’t encounter this issue until after I had completed the Excel tutorials first.
To those of you who are considering purchasing the course on Udemy just avoid it. Why CFA have approved this I do not know. It’s of a very poor standard and I am glad I purchased BIWS. Even the accounting fundamentals before the modelling lessons are a fantastic recap of the things I studied for CFA Level 1 and it’s much easier to remember when you actually do this stuff yourself in a more practical sense. Finally I feel I will be able to go into my next investment analyst interview prepared to fully answer how I have properly analysed and valued a company, rather than just talking about key fundamentals I have looked at! I wish I had started this course years ago - I might not have faced all those rejections :(
Cheers for the advice Numi!

The good thing about the BIWS marterial is not just the information - Brian’s teaching style is also exceptional. For the money, I’d say it’s a great deal. I’ve sent quite a few students his way, both for his modleing stuff and his networking materials.
