Hello,
Can you tell me how many pages there are in total in the curriculum for each level? I’m preparing a presentation on the CFA program for students and I’d like to give them an idea about the length of the study materials.
Thank you!

I counted during my Level 2 studies I think and I thought it was something like 3,200 pages. 6 books x 500-600 pages each (give or take).
Schweser was 1,700 pages that year so it was a no brainer!!!

When i took it, Level 1 CFA curriculum was closer to ~3300 pages.
Level 2 was ~2900 pages.
Level 3 is ~2500 pages.

Looking at the number of pages is missing the point. There are more important pages than others.

Former trader, sure. The idea is to tell students a number that can give them an idea about how the CFA exams compare to their usual mid-year exams. Page number is a good proxy for that.

I tell my students that when someone asks how much they had to study, tehy should say “16 lbs”. And this is in soft-cover.

I thought it’s 30lbs!!!

I just pulled the figure out of my …. (I use the statement more as a humorous illustration). It may be 15 lbs or 30 - I really don’t know. All I know is that it’s a lot of paper to study.
