CFA exam!

morning - red
afternoon - yellow
are we mentioning the same papers? only one set for all right?
if 50% of people score 70 and above, will they moderate the score up to 75% to be able to pass?

Whoever is saying the exam was easy is day dreaming! Morning session was tough compared with the afternoon session. A lot of curveball questions here and there……everything involved thinking and concept application lol !!!! However, I found ethics both morning and afternoon to be extremely easy, it took me 10 min each to clear……..
Not saying it was easy, saying it was easier on a relative basis! But you’re the first I come across who thinks Ethics is easy! I think it is so subjective and subject to interpretation/luck! I also cleared those in 10 minutes, but for the wrong reasons hehe!! :)

I, for one, thought the PM session was tougher than the AM session, but then, on this exam, it seems to me, your perceived difficulty has very little do with your actual performance :)

Hi,
AM was easier as compared to PM for me,
I am 50-50 on this one. If i pass, it will be a borderline pass.
Overall Exam relatively easy as compared to last time for me but that may be because i was better prepared this time.

I found PM relatively better than AM . Derivatives and FI got to me. Also a bit of Corp FIn

I felt as if the actual exam was more straightforward and easier than the mocks / sample exams. Seeing all these responses that it was hard makes me a little nervous lol.

Agreed, I feel the exam is less challenging than mock 2012. But way too much of calculation.
After finishing PM my head was going to explode.
AM and PM to me are almost the same.
I managed to finish 1st round ( did all questions( 40 mins before, then check again, fortunately I found and correct a few mistakes I made.

the part I feel least confident is ETHICS. Damn tricky. Cant say for sure even I got the book in front of me

AM was a killer!! definitely not made for ordinary humans….PM, surprisingly, was just a breeze for me , and i’m sure for most of us here as well.
And one lesson I learnt that, you shouldn’t regard the score you get in Schweser practice exam as an indication of your likely performance on the real thing! Did around 12 Schweser exams, and nothing was anywhere near to being as tough as the AM session, however the difficulty level of PM was comparable.

Hmm..I cannot recall AM session right now, but to you which part is killer? To me I feel AM is almost the same with PM in terms of difficulty
