Hello every one,
First of all i would like to take this opportunity to thank all the member of this forum who are taking some time from their busy schedule to help CFA aspirants like us.After nearly 1 week of posting my “Thread CFAL1 advice Part 1” i have completed schweser q bank pro.It is worthy of mention here that i took 34 full syllabus tests of 120 questions each to complete 4080 questions from q bank, out of those i got 652 questions wrong .Below mentioned are my average scores for each section:
1)Ethics:76%
2)Quant:89%
3)Economic:82%
4)FRA:76%
5)Corporate Finance:87%
6)Portfolio :90%
7)Derivatives:84%
8)Alternate:78%
9)Equity:87%
10)Fixed income:88%
My average score in 34 (120 questions full syllabus) test that i took is 84%.
Now i am really bored of solving questions as i have solved nearly 4100 of them in 1 week.So i want to spend the next 4 weeks just reading schweser again and focusing on FRA and ethics. In the mean time i will also revise the 652 questions (which i did wrong on q bank). Then finally in the last week of the CFA L1 exam i plan to do CFA/Schweser Mocks and revisit schweser q bank pro.
So i request to any 1 who has taken CFAl1 exam before to advice me on the appropriateness of my preparation strategy.Do i need to make any changes or i am on the right track??

I am assuming you are taking December exam?
There is a diminishing marginal benefit of studying once you pass certain stage. Your scores are great, and if they are consistent, i think you are very prepared for the exam.
L1 isn’t really THAT tricky, it is straight forward and if you know the material, you should be able to answer. The only thing missing from your post is time. Because L1 is quite time constraint, you have to be able to test yourself in exam environment.
Other than that, i don’t think you can do much more.
Best of luck!
NANA

On an average i am consuming 2-2.5 hrs to complete one Mock exam(120 questions).Yes i will give exam this december.

How to manage to solve so many questions at a time.?…i want to know?…not able to solve soo many?

Bro i am just creating full syllabus (120) question test on schweser q bank and trying to solve atleast 3/4 of them daily..which makes it 360/480 question daily..

no i am a full time postgraduation student (need to devote 8 hr to college daily)so i can devote 6 hours on average daily on CFA…since u r a charter holder pls advice !!!!am i on the right track??

wow but am suprised…because for me after taking the test, i review it..and that takes lots of time.

i never review the tests after taking them…as i have already mentioned on my post that 650+ out of 4000+ questions i got wrong!!!so now i will only have to revise those 650 questions that i got wrong as much as i can before the D day on 1st week of december

Seems you are very well prepared. But I remember in many posts, people preferred mock exams and schweser practice exams more than qbank. I think you shall only practice mocks now. Will be very happy seeing you pass.

You’re fine, Rahul. When you pass with good scores, you will wonder why you stressed out so much. Then, you will stress out again for L2.
Most people are struggling to get 2 hours of daily study time after their work days.

Thanks a lot!!!
I am not quite sure of my preparation and perhaps that is the main reason for my stressful journey towards CFA L1.
Thanks again for motivating me.

Lucky You Rahul. I am ready to swap my conditions with you. I barely scored 50% in first mocks. LOL
