For CFA Level I 2027, CFA Institute has confirmed that Level I exams continue to be offered four times per year: February, May, August, and November.

Important 2027 Curriculum Change​

If you're targeting February 2027 or later, you'll be tested on the 2027 CFA curriculum, which includes updates to Quantitative Methods and Equity Investments and affects roughly 25% of the Level I content.

Which Exam Window Should You Choose?​

• February 2027 → Best if you start studying now and can dedicate 7–8 months.
• May 2027 → More comfortable for candidates working full-time or coming from a non-finance background.
• August/November 2027 → Usually chosen by candidates wanting a slower pace or after a deferral.

If you're planning to use Schweser Notes, make sure you buy the 2027 edition, not the 2026 books, because the curriculum changes take effect starting with the February 2027 exam.
