CFA level 1 curriculum

I read once entire curriculum, did all EOC and blueboxes, then read Schwesser notes, do all EOC and blue boxes in Schwesser. Exercised each topic on CFA web more than 10 times by topic, did 2 full Mocks on CFA web. Afterwise went back to Curriculum reread and study again chapters with weakest performance on CFA mocks. I am going to take 3rd time full CFA Mock (AM and PM) session.
After improving knowledge in each topic and session, I found curriculum very helpful tool. Also in my experience some small parts of curriculum and exercices reqested in CFA Mock even does not appear in Scwesser notes or are not suffcient processed in Schwesser. Otherwise, Scwesser helped a lot in first reading material in which I had not had so experience before and also helped in difficult topics.
 
It seems as though I’ve wrote it myself. I have the same experience.
 
Flashback, when did you start studying / how many hours per week did you spend? You read the entire curriculum as well as the Schweser noets?
 
Hi mambamentality
I have started on July 1st immediately after receiving curriculum. A couple of weeks after, I got Schweser notes and continued parallel reading both material. I finished with all readings by beginning of October and then have started practicing hard. Aproxximately I study 5-6 hours each day since July 1st.
 
No need to read CFA Institute’s books in Level I. It is overkill and you cannot review 3000 pages multiple times. Schweser is enough and very manageable.
