CFA Level 1 + IMC enough for retail advice in the UK?

The CFA UK website says CFA L1 + IMC makes you RDR compliant to provide retail advice on “securities and derivatives”. Can anyone confirm whether that includes also mutual funds? I spoke to both CFA UK and FCA and they both say to check with the other…so i am in a loop
