In comparison to CFA books we propose some minor changes:

• reading Portfolio Management after QM, and
• reading Derivatives before Equity and Fixed Income

I think that the exact sequence of the topics is not that important. It is most important to have a study plan and follow it. And to realize that there is a huge amount of material to master.

I found this extremely helpful; I was able to modified it to match my plan for studying sections. Structure and organization is so critical in this process and being able to put a definitive plan on paper is a necessity. The mock exam is also pretty cool.

Have you started with ethics or are you going to read it later? I know that many people start with QM.
