CFA Materials Ebooks are worth to buy?

Hey everyone… i have an interest to be a CFA. I have searched some informations about CFA Materials and i found a web that offers an EBooks for:
1. Schweser (Quciksheet and Study Notes Vol 1-5)
2. Fin Quiz (Smart Summaries, Mock Exam, Notes, Formula Sheet)
3. CFA Institute (Program Curricullum Vol 1-6)
All of these materials cost about USD 40. Could anyone suggest is this offer is a good offer? or all of these are too much? as some people have mentioned that most of candidates will only need Schweser. Are there also any free download for the Full Version of Schweser (2016 update)?
 
When you register for your exam, CFA institute now automatically includes the price of Ebooks with the registration.. So you will get those from there.. I take it you haven’t registered yet.. otherwise you’d know that you dont need to get the CFAI curriculum books from anywhere else. As for prep providers, please purchase them directly from the publishers or it might just do more harm than good. CFAI does monitor these forums and the last thing you want is to be in trouble for some ethics violation.
 
Buy CFAI print material. It’s an excellent source of information. But if you wanna pass then go for Wiley.

Yes you are right Alisha. I haven’t registered myself. I’ve read that the member will receive the materials after they register to the CFA institute. First i thought that i want to know about the materials and exams to measure my capability. Am i good enough to take the Exam, therefore i want to buy those books i’ve mentioned before registering myself.. Do you have any suggestion for me so that i am able to measure my capacity before i spend a big money (for me) to the exam? Anw thanks so much for reminding me about the copyright. Thanks Alisha.
 
Hi Meglewis. It is a little difficult to get hold of full fledged course material without either registering or paying.. Perhaps this might be of some help:

There is a brief course outline and some practice questions for you to try. Though this is a very very brief outline and in no way represents the depth of the actual material, it might help you get a vague idea of what will be expected.

PS. If you are uncertain about how you will hold up against the material I suggest you try for the exam in December instead of June as most people are atleast half way through their prep by now for the June exam. This ofc is my personal opinion as you alone know your capabilities.

I noticed the same thing, and he hasn’t even passed the first level. Btw, I’m not trying to sound condecending. I’m just saying how do you know which works best until you pass?
 
Bear in mind, possible that he passed and simply has not updated his tag here.
