CFA on dual-language business card - Chinese & English

If you put the “, CFA” after your English name on your business card, are your required to put it after your other language name on the other side? Eg. in Hong Kong it is standard practice to have 1 English side and 1 Chinese name side. Presumably even in Chinese it has to be “, CFA” correct?

Sure, sent an inquiry to CFAI. Something I would be hoping for some feedback from this forum on though is etiquette with putting CFA on your business card in China/Chinese - is it acceptable/appropriate? I know order of business cards on the table when you receive them (seniority), the way you accept them (two hands), no writing notes on someon’s business card, etc. are pretty important out here so that the person doesn’t ‘lose face’. I’m wondering whether people have any experiences with putting CFA after their Chinese name
 
S2000 thanks for your note - to clarify, i was asking about the situation in which you decide to use the letters on one side of your business card (the English side) but not the other side (Chinese side). Are there any rules which govern whether both sides have to be the same (both use CFA or do not), etc.

I understood your question.
You should contact CFA Institute to get their advice, but the fact remains that you aren’t required to use the designation. If you use it on one side, that doesn’t create an obligation to use it on the other. Whether or not it’s bad etiquette if you use it on only one side is another matter; I have no idea on that. I would think it odd, but don’t know whether it’s bad form or not.
You could avoid the question altogether by having a Möbius band for a business card.
 
I find this question odd. there are rules of using the letters behind your name, but there’s no requirement that says you “have to use the letters” under any scenario. I think you can choose to add it or not to your chinese name
