CFA on resume

How do you guys present your CFA on the resumé/CV/linked-in/business card?
Will you use the CFA title on business card as: John Smith, CFA
Will you write your name this way on Linked-in?
Do you just write plain and simple CFA as a Certificate in Linked-in/CV or do you put it under education and the time period you spend studying with details about your result etc?
And finally if you like me, passed all 3 levels in less than 2 years, all on first try, do you write that in your CV?
 
Would also like to know the answers to those questions!
Though on your last point - I’m in the same position and will definitely be listing it!!
 
how well did you do on ethics at all levels? I think it answered all of the questions you posted here

That does not impress anyone. I know several people that explicitly list this on their linkedin etc - it only makes you look like a douchebag. And no one, not at any level or at any function, with whatever seniority, wants to work with a douchebag.

This should be only used on a first date and only if you got over 70 in all categories so that your potential life partner will know that you can guarantee superior performance.

“Head of Pathological Narcissism” is probably the most concise way to squeeze that in…
 
Yea, I will not be adding 3 for 3 on my CV or linkedin. If I am asked, I will say I was fortunate enough to pass all 3 on the first attempt, but actually writing it down somewhere isnt my style.
 
Good to hear that the finance industry seem to be filled with such humble nice guys!
I think I will just skip mentioning that I hold a CFA, if someone asks me I will say I was fortunate enough to get the CFA material paid by my company and that I mostly by luck managed to pass all 3 levels, so yes I hold a CFA license, but I don’t like to brag about it.. ..I don’t want to come off as a douche right, so I try to pretend I’m like everyone else in the office (without a CFA).
 
Joking aside, I don’t have a problem with it. it’s just the image you present of yourself.
Hazarding a guess you’re loooking for a job and want to distinguish yourself from all the other Charterholders. A better way would be to involve yourself with your local society.
Saying you’re a CFA grader looks better and beats 3 from 3 each time.

Yes so joking aside, if I should answer my own questions (which some of you just assumed I already made a decision on), the only one I’m considering is if I should write John Smith, CFA on my business card. Otherwise my clients won’t know I’m a CFA which would be beneficiary as a portfolio manager.
Other than that I will have a one liner on Linked In and my CV that I’m a CFA Chartholder.
 
Some positings list preference for first attempt passer folk (serious) so it’s worth having as long as the rest of your gig looks non-narc
 
I would highly recommend refraining from referring to yourself as a “Chartholder” unless you have also passed the CMT
