CFA PAST PAPERS 2007 - 2008

Is it worthwhile to go this far back?
How far back can we go before the mix of questions shifts so drastically that the document becomes irrelevant in the context of the 2013 exam?
Thanks

/Dear Musab ,
i asked kaplan schewser faculty this question with few other and they replied I would recommend to look at the old CFA exams primarily at the individual and institutional investor questions. As you go back farther in time the exams become more outdated due to changes in the curriculum but reviewing the individual and institutional IPS questions I think are invaluable. I’m not familiar with those other practice exams that you are referring to so I don’t want to comment on those. Regarding your score: you would need to score 70% overall between the morning and afternoon exams for a certain passing score. It’s possible the minimum passing score could go lower but once you get below 70% it becomes anyone’s guess as to how low the minimum passing score will be.

Hope this helps,
