Evening all,
I’ve just been browsing cfai website and the resources seem significantly different from level 2.
There appears to be:
  • Last three years of am questions
  • Additional practice questions
  • 2 mock exams
For the latter, I can’t seem to access the second of the mock exams on the laptop I’m currently using. Additionally they don’t seem to be printable. Has this always been the case for level 3?

The inability to print is new this year for all levels - which is utter shit in my opinion. Luckily, that’s only for the PM session. For Level 3, they’ve always published the past three years’ real AM exams. So what you see for the 2011-2013 AM exams are the actual exams given to candidates those years. If THAT were new this year then it’d more than make up for the inability to print the PM, but it’s not…
There’s also talk from those that have been through them that the practice question item sets are exactly what you will see in the CFAI PM exam online - again, utter shit if it’s true. But then again, practice questions were never available in past years (other than the mocks).

I get the same thing. The Mock AM comes up with a warning saying that the system doesn’t support constructed response questions and the March Mock AM is item set questions, I’ve heard that these are actually a repeat of the item sets in the practice questions by topic.
 
That is correct. Also Mock exam AM has no new questions-but takes you to the past AM exams.
 
anyone also getting an error when trying to view the practice questions for behavioral finance, private wealth mgmt and isnt. investors? i get a “sorry, we don’t have questions available for your topic….” message. why can’t we do practice questions for this topic?
 
I get the same error when clicking into those topics. Seems strange to list them out when they don’t have any questions.
How have you guys found the item set questions for the other topics? There were a few tricky questions in there but on the whole I found them to be alright.
