CFA Scheweser 2013 Version vs Current Curriculum

Hey everyone,
I’m currently using the Scheweser 2013 books to study for level 2. Just wondering if this is still a good source to study with or has the curriculum changed too much over the past few years? I supplement my learning with the current curriculum EOC questions.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

use old material at your own peril. year on year the material does change, maybe not as much.
and if you are using a study provider’s material - also note that they do not change their stuff as much. so determine whether the changes are material, and then use the material. (and your comparison benchmark should be the actual CFA material, not the study provider themselves).
in my experience - material that is 1 year old is not as bad - but you are now trying to use material that is 3 years old…

Compare 2016 LOS with that of 2013 in Excel or Word. I know it is a tedious task but reading through LOS will greatly enhance your preparation (I for instance eliminate LOS as I read through and leave behind those I havent fully understood). I have seen 2015/2016 and 2014/2015 comparisons (Google it) but no direct 2013/2016 comparison. Again, a very fruitful exercise and time will be well spent.
