CFA study materials

Dear all,

I'm registered for the Dec.2006 level 1 examination and i also have the Schwerser notes for 2004. Are the 2004 notes adequate enough? Do i need to buy the new eddition ?

I'm also registered for the Dec. 2006 Level I exam, but it's my first time. I bought the CFA Inst. study materials, but now I'm seeing alot of talk about Schwerser notes. Should I get these materials too?

Also, any advice on a prep course?
