I tried the search function, but it didn’t seem to have anything relevant or recent…
I wondered iof anyone had experience of CFA uk and particularly their surgeries as an aid to studying Level 2?
Thanks.

You win the award for “most confusing post” on AF…

Surgeries is the UK society version of prep provider - they sell this service. Obviously, not many takers for that!

What type of surgery? Get well soon, my friend!
Sorry, I just had to…

If anyone can offer advice of their experiences.
I am referring to the “surgeries” mentioned here;

L2 starting on 12th March.
Tks.
It is a shame this forum appears to have gone downhill as a useful resource for candidates, purely based on the quality of responses received of late!

I attended two last year for Level II and it was a bit of a hit or miss. Even though I was already familiar with most of the concepts I decided to go as a refresher and found the Kaplan quant session to be very useful. Generally they don’t cover everything as it tends to be 1 - 1.5 hours, but they usually touch on some key points and, at least for Kaplan, they tend to throw in some good tips. The other one I attended was covering Financial Reporting and it was not as useful. The presentation was boring and confusingeven for things that are not difficult.

First time I hear anybody mention that service. There are only like 4 video sessions over the entire curriculum, compared to the 16 offered by Kaplan.

Tks for the response…..It doesn’t sound comprehensive enough to use after all….
I used Schweser last time for L2……..CFA books for me this time!
Cheers.
