CFAI 2014 LEVEL 2 MOCK EXAM

hey all,
does anyone know when the 2014 Level 2 CFAI mock will be available in PDF form for download and Print? I see there are assessments on the actual CFAI website that are availble for candidates but I don’t see a link for the actual Mock exam that they release every year….
 
The mock exam is at the bottom of the practice assessments. It’s not in PDF format… It’s in the same format as the practice assessments. However, you can use a program like CutePDF and print it in your own PDF format.
 
in past years they offered the Mock in PDF format… why the change? this is terribly inconvenient
 
I know they did… I have no idea why the change. I emailed them at the beginning of the month, and they told me they weren’t offering it in PDF this year. I, too, told them that it was really inconvenient. If I still have their response on my work email, I will paste it on this thread tomorrow morning.
From the CFA website: “The mock exam is designed to mimic, as closely as possible, the exam day experience.” - in my mind, an e-version of the mock exam is nothing like the “exam day experience”… quite frustrating actually. But, it’s the hand we’re dealt… so we’ll just have to deal with it.
 
I logged in remotely and found their response to my question:
Dear Mr. ____,
Thank you for contacting us regarding your study resources. We do not offer the mock exams in pdf format. These resources are intended to be a digital tool and were not optimized for printing. However, the topic-based practice tests and the mock exams are printable. Note:
  • To print an exam, PC users can hit CTRL+P and Mac users can hit Command+P.
  • For Level II and Level III, candidates can only print out one item set at a time. For each item set they have to hit print, submit, print, submit, etc. until they get to the end of the exam. Candidates can then print out all of the answers at one time though.
I hope this is helpful. We appreciate your feedback and I have forwarded this to the appropriate department for their reference.

Haha hey man, relax. You can still print off the exams, as the last poster kindly provided simple instructions. It’s kind of a pain, but whatever. The CFAI doesn’t want a bunch of .pdf documents of their material floating around the internet, apparently.
