It was released today. 85% of total revenues are from CFA Program Fees, i.e. the CFA exam. 47% of expenses are related to the exam. I am not a conspiracy guy, but if exam fees are radically subsidizing the institute, guess where they want to keep their customers?

I think it reflects poorly on CFAI when it appears that the purpose of the organization is to administer a series of tests, as opposed to some sort of advocacy, education, etc.
 
$200MM collected in candidate exam fees. Is it 47%? I thought all exam costs were like $27MMish excluding grader costs.

That's all the role of CFA really is, is to administer the exam. The whole advocacy thing is a sideshow.

I didn't look at the report yet. What is John Rogers pulling down this year? I recall the president being very well compensated in past years.
