CFAI rules - Ziploc bag for pencils, etc or no?

Per usual, CFAI isn't clear whether these are allowed as in year's past. It specfically says the following are not permitted, "....baggage of any kind, including transparent bags....", so I'm assuming no.

I did not sit for 2006, so maybe this changed last year.
 
good question...i was preparing to bring a zip loc bag too. anyone have updates concerning the preferred mode of storage?
 
Just be prepared to throw the ziploc bag away if they ask you to.

And don't bring a Gucci ziplock bag, ok!
 
You can only use the bag to hold liquids under 3oz......... oh wait, wrong security.
 
Be careful with the HB pencils. I had one break in my pocket before the exam and a close call with danger.
 
There's a little loophole in the CFA test regulations. You are allowed a paper bag, and you can write whatever you want on it.
