CHA (Chartered Hedge Fund Associate) newest designation....

why not CHFA then?
… so many designations pouring out in the marketplace; so unnecessary!
 
Yeah, this one included. Just take the CFA, the true mark of destinction. I’ve never even heard of this one until recently and never seen a job posting asking for the CAIA.
 
I have seen quite a few job postings on the CFA Job Board asking for the CFA as well as the CAIA that’s the only reason I am taking it.
 
The CAIA offers a lot of info that is not in the CFA. Not a substitute, but a nice complement.
