Kind of like the subject says, if your legal name is Ma Yun for example, but go by Michael, so you put Michael Ma Yun, CFA on your name card, is that a violation?

Horse owners refer to that as your barn name.
The registered name of the handsome gentleman in my avatar is Chaotic Addiction; his barn name is Khaleel.
If he were a charterholder, he could have a business card with, “Khaleel, CFA”; it wouldn’t be a violation of the Standards.

I like it. Nothing says gangster like a middle name in quotes.
Chaotic “Khaleel” Addiction.

We joke about it, but truth be told, Khaleel could never pass these exams, smart as he is.
His hooves are too big to push the buttons on the calculator.

I’ve often wondered if it’s possible to pass the exams without a calculator. I think it is, since most of the exam is conceptual and not too mathy.

I think it’s possible too. You might not have above 70% in every section, but it’s realistic to pass it without a calculator.
