Might have been answered already but a quick search did not turn up anything.

Do you guys know if the Concept Checkers in Schweser are a fair reflection of the difficulty of the real thing?

Just to add on:

They are WAY easier.

They're just "concept checkers" and not meant to be at the same level of difficulty. That's what the practice exams are for.

was starting to get too confident. but even the Exam Flashbacks are very straightforward. Obviously some of them are 15 years old and I am sure that the level of difficulty is much higher on the exams now...

What have you guys found to be the closest practice questions to the real exam?

Based on advice from a bunch of people I work with, the Schweser exam book best. Not the one that comes with the notes, the one you buy separately. It is supposedly the hardest and I've been told if you are performing well on that you are in a good position.

Might want to post a question like that in the LII forum though since they've all already passed LI.

Additional Schweser exam book (book 7) is a lot harder. However, this doesn't reflect the actual exam format, but I found book 7 to be a lot harder.

Hi CFAHouston, where can i get the book 7? Is "Additional Schweser exam book" the name of book 7? thanks!

Book 7 is called "Practice Exams" I think it goes for $100. I hear that there are a lot more number crunching questions than on the real thing.
