Soln of EOC 29 states equity under both full and partial goodwill is same as Non controlling interest is same both these cases.

Its correct. Minority interest is same then why would total equity be different?

Minority interest isn’t the same under Partial and Full. Partial is based off of NA, Full is based on FV of Sub. The total value of GW + Minority Interest is the same between both.

Yes but if the minority comes out to be the same in both partial and full goodwill, equity will be same. It is not set in stone that minority interest should be different under both the methods, it can be same too.
