Hi all:
Like the title says I usually score around 75-80% on each session of the Schweser mock exams. Is this indicative of what I can somewhat expect on the actual test? Those who have passed, what were you scoring a month before the exam?

Great thanks, so do you suggest just going over the LOS that I am weak in and calling it a day?

I’ve been doing about the same (75-85) and my coworkers who have passed and used Schweser have told me not to worry with those results and just to continue refining areas that are weaker.

One thing I do is use an excel spreadsheet to keep a track of each Q-bank question I get incorrect and what type of problem it is (for example, it is an ethics question or or exchange rate calculation problems or problems that deal with calculating indirect cash flows) and focus on them afterwards.
I’ve heard from a few charterholders that if you have a minimum of 70% on the Q-bank (assuming you’re treating it like the real test and only spending an average of 90 seconds on each question) you should be fine. Also remember to pay attention to the weight of each section. For example, if you’re doing poorly on ethics (weighted highly on the exam) but well on econ (worth only 9+/- percent of the exam) then you shuld spend a lot of time focusing on ethics.
Good luck!

From my experience, the qbank is a lot easier than the mocks. I’ve been using the qbank after reading each LOS to gain a basic understanding of the concept, but I don’t really believe the qbank is indicative of the actual test.
