i heard thet there is vast difference between ethics book in cfa level for 2006 , as copmarable to cfa level 1 2005 books! is it true?

Yes. Not on the ethics standards itself, but for they have added Corporate Governance.

Yes, the standards as well. Although the material is VERY similar the roman numerated Standards have been juxtaposed. The 2006 material is available here:

The old Candidate Readings handbook makes a good... dust collector.

Use CFA material... they provide it for free

Though the ethics standards are more or less same, but GIPS is totally different, and now they added the corporate governance also.

I remember to have seen the document on the CFAI website stating the changes to Code of Ethics as compared to the 8th edition, there were quite a few changes, although I did not study this paper in detail .
