Core courses and/or text books to help non-finance CFA hopeful

I have been in the finance industry for five years and am currently a financial advisor and have learned a lot but I do not have the core math, accounting, statistics and so on that is needed for the CFA. I am wondering if anyone can suggest whether taking courses(and which ones) or just buying certain text books would help me in building a strong enough foundation to be able to tackle the exam.

The Khan Academy has some amazing free videos on these subjects that I would start with:
