It’s either they have law enforcement power, which is doubtful and tedious, given that CFA exam candidates come from all over the world, making it hard to believe CFAI could have legal agreements with international service providers. Or, which is the most likely case, that those two candidates used the *same* email address for Analyst Forum as that for CFAI registration. In that case, it was quite easy for CFAI to ask AF for the email address of the candidates, and matching it to CFAI records. I work in this area and I know that it is not possible to get it from IP address. Again, my point is not to say it’s ok to go against the pledge you signed, just questioning the ability of CFAI to get the required information and legally proving it.

Right, not through the university, but through CFAI records. They don’t need the school’s help.
 
well making a spreadsheet of all the question you remeber and then sell it is retarded. I happy they got sanctioned
