I've heard that the salary band is about the same in canada, only its in CAD not GBP.

Bonuses are good tho.

I m referring to Msc Financial Economics. Financial Engineering is quantiative in nature.

For NY it should be around $100K +/- $10K with a bonus of perhaps 30-50%.
Not sure about TD Securities though.
