If it's like managerial accounting (which I think it is), then it will help a little. My managerial class had a lot of NPV and IRR calculations, CapEx decisions and whatnot. But all the budgeting stuff won't help, and there's no GAAP accounting.
Cost accounting will have no use for you in CFA exam. Well, at least no direct benefit let's say. As exemplaria mentioned, managerial accounting is a completely different realm and courses related to that would be highly advantageous.
