Counting the number of days between coupon and settlement

Sorry for the dumb question in advance but can someone point out why there are, using the 30/360 day convention, 88 days from the 15 February to 14th of May. I calculate 89 days= (3*30)-1
Also the cfa material says there are 181 days between 15 of feb until the 15 th of August. Isn’t there 180 days?
 
A day is always counted as a full day (until midnight if you want). In your examples it means that both the beginning and ending days as counted full.
Btw.: In case of doubt there is a DAY-Function on the BA II Plus to calculate the number of days between two dates (either using the Actual or the 30/360 method).

I checked again and see it is in the actual actual format I made a mistake and thought they were using the 30/360 format
thanks for the day function I never knew about that. it works great and gives me the right answer -Is a big help
