I just sat for Level I in June and about to sit for the BEC section of the CPA in August. However, I have old books from 2004. Do you think the curriculum has changed in the CPA that much? I think i should be fine, but just wanted to double check?

any CPA's know of any practice exam websites out there?

thanks all!

you're probably asking the wrong group of folks. there's bound to be a cpa forum somewhere. good luck.

You should check cpanet.com

I will tell you that the Becker 2004 books will not cover IT sufficeintly, and it is a large portion of the exam.

BEC is especially tough because the prep providers don't really have good idea what is on the test. I would get the newest book possible so you have the benefit of the time the test has been out.

Don't underestimate BEC because it's short. There is a candidate in our firm that has failed it 5 times. Of the four CPA exams, I scored lowest on BEC.

Good luck.
