Credit Suisse, Barclays Cuts May Be Start of Bank Hiring Freeze

And around that time I think my cousin quit Barclays for Credit Suisse (in New York)
 
Agh, hiring freezes. I would kill to live through a boom just once in my life.
 
I literally finished my MBA in September of 2008 during the Lehman demise. I finished my BA during the Nasdaq Tech Crash. I suppose I’ll finish my CFA when the US becomes a socialist regime.
 
^ yea, so we got about 2 years until the world ends, or until lockheed finishes L3
 
But going back on subject, I know a good friend that just landed a job at Credit Suisse within Equity Research. Amazing accomplishment in today’s hiring environment, especially at the bulge bracket. Now days, the small mid-tier shops have more openings as the bulge face tons of govt scrutiny and loss of revenue generating opportunities.
