Do we need to know any value on the z table or they give us all? Please someone who has done the exam before help us! thanks

You need to know the standard normal (z) values for 68%, 90%, 95%, and 99%.
They’ll give you an excerpt from a z-table for any question involving values other than those.
They’ll also give you excerpts from tables for any question involving a student’s t distribution, an F distribution, or a χ² distribution.

Shit….
Can anyone check if my table is fine?
Z values: 68% = 0.47; 90% = 1.28; 95% = 1.65; 97.5%= 1.96; 99% = 2.33; 99.5% = 2.57
thanks

Not even close.
You’re looking at 1-tail probabilities; you need to know the 2-tail probabilities:
  • 68% = 1.00
  • 90% = 1.65
  • 95% = 1,96
  • 99% = 2.58

Thanks S2000. But the values you gave are for the construction of confidence intervals, if I was doing a hypotheis test I would need to know the values as I posted… correct?
editing: if the test is one tailed

If one tailed use yours, if two tailed use S2000. btw its probably more important to know the two tailed (even though its fairly easy to memorize it all) because most tests are two tailed.
