Hi
I sat Level 1 in December for the first time and was quite aware in the run up to the exam that I hadn’t covered nearly enough of the material. I was essentially completing three or four sections in the week before and spent approximately 6-8 hours on each of these.
I was not suprised to find I failed but was happy to know that my results were not disasterous. I scored less than 50% in FRA and FI and scored between 51-70% in all remianing sections.
Is there anyone out there who can share their Band 8 scores so I can do a comparison?
Thanks

Trying to compare scores is an exercise in futility. It’s like trying to compare apples with bananas. The comparison is not meaningful.
If I were you, I would focus on FRA and Fixed Income for my second round and learn the concepts better for those. Then, I would probably hammer the hell out of Quants and Ethics, as those are pretty significant determinants of your pass result if you are just on the cusp of passing or failing.
Best of luck to you on your second attempt! You got this.

focus on the areas you did not do so well on, but do not get overconfident on the other areas.
keep reviewing from now till June on all the sections -
use a qbank kind of software - and keep testing yourself ever so often - so you have whole curriculum coverage by the JUne test.
Also realize that this is a new year - so June 2016 may have some subtle new changes since Dec 2015. Focus on those differences as well.

< 50 % in FRA,derivative and FI
50-70 in ethics and PM
rest > 70
Passed.
