Decision Days Remaining

Called NYSSA and they said the CFAI portal is closed, because all us passers are all submitting the membership application at the same time lol
 
My work exp was approved and I’m at the “under review - society” stage with 24 decision days remaining. I just called the Chicago CFA Society and they said they meet twice a month to review apps. She said she didn’t know when the next one is but it should be coming up soon.
Question for others: Does the CFA Institute send an email to you after the Society has approved your app? I’m getting sick of checking the portal every 3 hrs. They did not send me an email when my work exp was approved.
I guess I’m just being impatient.
 
From where do we check the date the system updated to CFA? On results day it didn’t say because I wasn’t a member but today I logged in and it says CFA after my name.
 
Just paid and activated my membership. My name now shows up on the member directory as a charterholder, yet I don’t see CFA letters after my name when I log in. I’m just going to use the letter anyways.

My journey is done.
 
I applied last monday, Institute approved work experience on Thursday. I know a member on the board of the local society, he said it’s usually around the 30 days when they approve applications but he said he could get them to speed it up. And today they finally did so I paid my dues and now it’s official.
I also, don’t see the letters after my name but they are on the receipt for my dues so it’s legit
