Deferring exam

Hi,

Registered for the June L1 exam, but havent been able to put the required time and effort into it due to work pressures. I was checking the CFA site to see the deferment options, but its not very clear about the topic of fees.

Do i have to pay the enrollment fees again if i want to defer to December? Its clearly mentioned there is no refund. Can anyone help dispel the confusion.

There is an L1 withdrawal option where you can withdraw from the June exam and take the exam in December and only pay an enrollment fee, as opposed to an enrollment and registration fee.

All this does is allow you to enroll for the later exam, because if you don't withdraw you can't enroll until after the results.

It won't save you any money though(as you wouldn't have to pay an additional registration fee anyway). You might as well just take it so you'll know the structure of the exam and maybe what to study for in Dec.!
