Deutsche Bank Front Office DCM in Jacksonville

Anyone have any experience with this? Apparently they are looking to create 20 or so front office positions there. 30% of time in NY, NY #’s on the desk, and direct turret access to the rest of the DCM sub-groups in NY.
Good experience or a red-herring?

I used to work at DB. What business unit within DB Securities is this? Sounds suspect to me. I know they have a lot of pwm in Florida but Jacksonville??

Their JVille office was created as a BO hub. I would be highly suspect of an IB role in FLA, especially Jacksonville. The only real place it would make sense to have an IB office would be Miami and MAYBE Tampa.
I do know for a fact though DB began hiring in 2008 in Jville for BO positions in their new Jacksonville office. I even followed up with my cousin who works @ DB and he said he wouldn’t recommend me for any of the positions because it was all sh!t work.
Things may have changed, I would pursue it, however be alert.

I think the intention is for the JAX office to be primarily BO ops but I think a few DCM teams (i.e. the ones that do more structuring and even have principal finance capability) are looking to hire analysts/associates in the JAX office to cut costs but keep headcount. Interviews have all been in NYC - with MD’s, department heads, and even the head of DCM.
