Didn't sleep a wink

Two tips for the future:
1. Marathon runners get their sleep not the night before, but a night earlier. I made sure I did that and it helped. Nothing worse than cumulative sleep loss.
2. The day before you shouldn’t do any more mock exams or practice problems, just read summaries of the material repeatedly and check the formulas. Then around noon set a strict cutoff, and take the rest of the day to reward yourself. Go for a nice walk, go see a movie, just totally do what you enjoy and don’t check emails or anything else that may get you anxious for any reason. Absolutely forbid yourself to peak at the material during this time and stop thinking about formulas, you will only screw yourself if you do that.
I did that and while I didn’t get 8 hours, I got a solid 6 1/2 which is very good for a situation like this.
The funny part is the night AFTER the exam I didn’t get any sleep, was too worried about how I did, lol

The night before i closed my eyes but was conscious of myself being awake. Technically I guess I didnt sleep. Woke up in the morning all pumped up and ready to go. Went through AM and PM papers and didnt yawn a single time, eyes wide open with my chest full of air. Wondered how i managed to pull through without giving up. At the end of the day i became dead flat and sat for a while near the exam area before heading home. No appetite for dinner. Collapsed onto my bed and slept like a baby that Saturday night.

Definitely did sleep like a baby after the exam! 13 hours!

I didn’t sleep at all the night before, either. It was the very first time that test anxiety got the best of me.
That didn’t really matter during the exam, though. I went in with the confidence of a black guy at the gym showers and rocked it (at least I think so!).
I went back home, had a hot shower, and slept till Sunday noon.

I had the same problem, and it’s not like me at all. Starting on Wednesday night I hd a hard time sleeping until the exam was over. Friday I was still awake at 3:30 am, and up before 6:30. So irritating. Fortunately I didn’t feel as foggy as I expected to on exam day.

I could not fall into sleep for many hours even I went to bed before early. It’s probably because I never went to bed that early. Had a horrible night and I felt tired and sleepy when I was waken by the alarm. Afriad of falling into sleep again I did not laydown for 10 minutes as I ususally do. Morning session was OK and I think I did pretty well. But after lunch it became disastrous. A couple of sets into the exam my brain did not seem to belong to me. I was slow in reading and analyzing and could not recall formulae. I was far behind the allocated time and be came panic. PM session will determine my result.

I didn’t go to bed until 5am. I woke up at 8am. It sucked!

Taking two shots of Nyquil around 10pm the night before the exam works best for me. Slept like a baby and woke up refresh!
