“We do not offer an appeals process or a re-marking service. Retabulation will not change the grades on your individual answers. Unless an error is found in the totaling or recording of your scores, the pass/fail decision will not be affected.”
As you can see on the above the institution clearly instructs that they are just adding up the marks and charge you $100 for that.
Just want to see if anyone here knows any case that has been mistakenly graded.
Thanks for your responds

I don’t sorry dude. I thought about whether I’d do this if the result was negative, and to be honest I wouldn’t - think we can be pretty sure that marks have been added up correctly. If you’re a band 10 then maybe as 1/2 marks might make a difference? But otherwise, meh.

band 10 !
Would defintely retabulate and I really enjoy donating 100$ to the CFA Institute as I really regard them :))

Never heard of anyone having the results changed after the retabulation. I failed Level 1 band 10 and band 9, asked for retabulation in both cases and nothing changed.
I think the retabulation makes sense only if you know you studied hard, think you did well, and you fail, say, band 2 or 3. In that case, may be, the machine didn’t properly scan your answer sheet…

did you erase a lot on the multiple choice? that’s to me the only chance.

Thanks for all of your responds. I am in band 9 and I had never been that positive to pass the exam even for my Level I and II.
I answered all the questions and all these times I was worried about my PM. It turned out that I did really good job in my PM with just alternative under 50%.
I was really confident about my answers, and I am thinkin there is a chance that I put my answers in the wrong spots.

Here is my result:

i’m in the same boat. Band 9. thought i did MUCH better in AM than actual results - shocked actually. not sure if retabulation is worth it, but i can’t get over my AM score..

Welcome in the club…
Band 10 and almost identical matrix as passed candidates. I don’t think that the matrix is a good indication how far away we are from a pass.
I was shocked as well that I have the first 5 sections + Asset Allocation <50, no idea why. Therefore I’ll go the retabulation way. Aware that the chance to get a delayed pass is smaller than 1%. Nevertheless, fingers crossed for all of us…
