Why are you trying to figure out if it would be a good idea to do something so far into the future anyway? If I’m not mistaken you still have a few years of undergrad left. If you decide it probably will be a good idea and then when it comes time to start and it looks like it doesn’t make sense are you going to say “well 8 years ago I made a meaningless decision and now I have to stick to it”. Planning now that your going to do one then the other is pointless, focus first on getting the job you want, and secondly on setting yourself up for an MBA (basically get good grades and do extracurricular a and things like that). I suppose you could also set yourself up to take the CFA but that’s really just taking relevant classes that you are probably taking anyways.
Also you have said nothing in this thread about the job you want, don’t let things that are supposed to help you get a job (MBA CFA masters) prevent you from getting a job.
Also don’t say thank you to the blue book spammers, don’t encourage them.
