Doing cfa after mba

@goblin sir right now i am doing bachelors in financial market and i want to do cfa so it is good if i do mba in finance and after that cfa because cfa need 4 year professional wrk exp. Or a masters degree hope i am right.

If you still require CFA after MBA to find a job, then you went to the wrong school.
 
^ What about the need to compete with other top-tier MBA graduates? Need to differentiate yourself over your peers, even if you went to Harvard, don’t you?
 
Why are you trying to figure out if it would be a good idea to do something so far into the future anyway? If I’m not mistaken you still have a few years of undergrad left. If you decide it probably will be a good idea and then when it comes time to start and it looks like it doesn’t make sense are you going to say “well 8 years ago I made a meaningless decision and now I have to stick to it”. Planning now that your going to do one then the other is pointless, focus first on getting the job you want, and secondly on setting yourself up for an MBA (basically get good grades and do extracurricular a and things like that). I suppose you could also set yourself up to take the CFA but that’s really just taking relevant classes that you are probably taking anyways.
Also you have said nothing in this thread about the job you want, don’t let things that are supposed to help you get a job (MBA CFA masters) prevent you from getting a job.
Also don’t say thank you to the blue book spammers, don’t encourage them.

Sir I want to a job of portfolio manager/ Research Analyst.
My dad is a stock broker he owns stock broking company. Even I am doing trading in live market from past 2 years as my dad helps me and teach me how to analyse the stock market.
 
For those types of jobs you will probably want to start CFA as soon as possible (maybe even senior year).
hopefully you will not need to get an MBA, unless you want that experience (either way you can reevaluate in a few years) focus on getting a job as close to that upon graduation and then move to CFA, don’t plan on waiting until you have a grad degree. Also the 4 years experience will not count grad school (from my understanding) and you will want to get your CFA out of the way quickly, and you might/ most likely will fail a level, so I wouldn’t wait to start CFA.
 
Prepare for CAT and go to IIM A/B/C or at least top 10. I don’t see point of pursuing MBA from any other college.
In India, companies hire only from top B-schools and you may not even need CFA for Finance jobs.
 
CFA + MBA is an awsome mixture..
However, though doable, CFA is so tough
You can start with Phd-finance program. I, for one, see Phd-Finance is an easier approach than CFA.

Comparing PhD in Finance and CFA has no legs..
Don’t start PhD if you can’t commit to research. It’s a different animal.
 
I really want an MBA myself. MBA + CFA should be solid and I really enjoy studying and taking exams.
Part time mba for me though.
