Dreams after exam

It is known that dreams are tied up to the psychology aspect of an individual. After spending lot of time reading and practicing, and specially after the D-day I am sure some of you may still be dreaming about the experiences in your dream (including your Proctor’s face). I have been doing the same thing. Since last 2 days I can literally see the paper in my dreams (although my memory is poor in remembering that) and come across the questions which I may have potentially gone wrong esp Stats and Ethics. Do you still have hangover about the same ?
 
yeah i had a dream the other day that i was running out of time. it was weird, it wasn’t even the CFA exam but I knew it was the CFA exam and I didn’t even have a watch to gauge my time but I knew I was running out of time. And everytime I flipped the page another page behind it would appear so the book would never end even though it looked like I was nearing the end.
I guess it’s just my worst nightmare playing with me…
 
I wrote my last CFA exam over 5 years ago and I still have nightmares from time to time. It will never dissapear.
 
i dream about it when i was studying but i don’t think i dream about the exam after i finish…
i sometimes would study inside my dream knowing that i am dreaming but in the dream i would be forgetting some materials and try to look it up in the textbooks…. it’s sad really… T_T
 
I never had a dream after but I always had them the last week before each level. They were weird, they’d have me standing in front of a white board, filling board after board with formulas as fast as I could write them.
 
I am the only one that still has dreams to this day??? Approx. 2000 days after I passed L3.

This sounds a little extreme. I can understand a few days, or maybe even a couple of weeks. But five and a half years? It must have been pretty traumatic.
I had a lot of dreams about exam material in the days leading up to the exam, but I think that’s normal. It happened with my CPA exams, too.
When I was immersed in language school about 13 years ago, I remember starting to dream in that foreign language. That was kinda freaky.
 
Me too. I has many dreams before and after the exam :(. It seems that I still cannot get it out of my mind. I am back to work today after 2 weeks off. I thought I would quickly return to my work mode …but more than 700 emails did not help me not to think of the exam and the studying time I had gone through :(. Arrrhhhh
 
This post reminds me of one of the books that i was forced to read by my psychology prof. (but i donot regret reading it at all).T he name of the book was
“The Interpretation of Dreams by Sigmund Freud”
I would like to request all of you to read this great work of art.

It gets worse at L2 & 3.
 
No dreams, but several years later and I still shudder when I attend an event at the PA Convention Center in Philly.

Not joking. I have one every 2 or 3 months. It’s always the same dream. I already passed L3 and I’m debating whether I should show up and write it again. Doesn’t make sense, I know.
 
I also have dreams of not being prepared for a big uni exam. I graduated almost a decade ago.
 
Did you pass it while you were a trader ? I am a quantitative analyst, although I do not work as hard as a trader, my experience of level 1 was already pretty traumatic, since I registered late,I had not that many weekend to study.
maybe you had to work too hard and this is why you had a bit of a traumatic experience. I have nightmares since I passed this exam but it was only a week ago.
 
I still think of the girl two rows in front of me two rows to the left. She had a skirt on and was playing with her flip flops, letting them dangle. She’s this Asian cutie that almost made me fail as I was starring at what she was doing during the last 2-3 minutes and got a pretty nasty look from the head proctor for that.
If you read this, Miss cutie pie, please look for a different exam center next time, as I really wanna pass l2 :)

L1 and L2 as trader. I overstudied. At least 1500 hours for all 3 levels.

Are you still working in Finance ? You say that you were a trader.
