I am about to purchase the Elan Essential Prep Pack, and I noticed that the June test takers did a group buy for Elan as well. The 25% discount is huge considering the Essential Prep Pack is $450.
Please post your email address if you are serious about buying the Essential Prep Pack in the next few days. Once two forum members post their email addresses for their Elan login names, I’ll contact Elan and have the discounts added to your Elan accounts.

Damn I didn’t know about this. I just bought the Ultimate Pack last week.

I’ve researched the best practices for taking the CFA for the past 3-4 months, and the consensus is to use Elan Guides. Their mock exams are supposedly the closest to the real thing and they are the cheapest provider.
I don’t work for them or anything, just letting everyone know what I’ve found after researching all the prep companies.
 
SFA_CA and pittgal: I’ve requested a discount for the three of us. Can you let me know if you guys want the Ultimate or Essential Package. I’m leaning towards Ultimate as it includes the videos. Kindly respond ASAP.

I think I was leaning more towarsd the Essential Package, as it’s the one I can afford more. But I think even with the 25% discount I can probably afford it.
I am going to log into my account and see what discount is available under my name now.
 
I purchased the Ultimate Prep Package on July 5; can I get in on this or will they not do it retroactively?

Thank You..I got the email in the morning, and I tried to place the order this evening but it would not let me. It just takes me back to the Login screen, even after I have logged in and says error on page. I will try again later.
 
Please post additional email addresses and I can add more people to our group. Still waiting for dontbeaquitter to purchase the guide…

I ordered mine yesterday evening, tried again using Firefox and it worked, may be something to do with IE.
