Anyone have a link to the problems that Level 1 candidates are responsible for at the end of each CFAI assigned readings ? Thanks.

There should be a readings matrix at the candidate resources. It lists rassigned end of chapter questions as well.

Arn't they all required? I don't think the questions cover any of teh optional material. At least, I don't recall any question which wasn't from the main reading material.

Some questions from the original readings (not the CFAI compilation) might not be required. So if you buy the original books instead of CFAI material it is better to check which questions are included.

I don't recommend trying to save a few bucks by buying the original material over CFAI books, and get into all kinds of unnecessary mess.

Candidate resources has nothing that I can find. Anyone else?

I'm quite frankly not sure what you're asking.

At the end of most assigned readings, there are questions. Candidates are ususally responsible for knowing how to answer (some of) them. CFAI usually tells us in the Study Session summary "Candidates rsponsible for questions 1,3,6" etc.

I am asking where I find a list of which questions we are responsible for. They used to tell us at the end of of the LOS' of each study session. Do they not do this anymore?

I haven't seen such lists in the new CFAI curriculum. I assume we are supposed to be able to solve all problems.

I haven't seen them either. I assume you're supposed to be able to solve only problems that are relevant to the LOS, not ALL problems.

That's exactly right. That's why they used to tell you which questions you are responsible for knowing. I don't know if old study guides are available on line at CFAI, but if they are, check them out. You'll see what I mean.

I guess they've stopped doing that this year. Too bad.
