Be warned, this eoc will take you forever. I wish CFAI took retail ips construction out of the books. Truth be told, if we wanted to be pwm most of us would just go with the cfp (ammirite!?)

You could get a CFP and go into PWM but there is also demand in PWM for CFA Charterholders and the CAIA too from a hiring perspective. Sadly, your clients won’t know what your CFA or your CAIA means…lol The irony.
 
Really? I woud take GIPS over IPS which is very long, wordy and subjective. One year after BoA pwm took over U.S. Trust pwm the entire team had to create an IPS for EVERY client in the old BoA system….it was a year long nightmare of endless IPSs. I ended up “delegating” a lot of it, way too many.
 
“GIPS” is my new curse word. As in: what the GIPS you think you’re doing?
