Yipi, As an o&g analyst in Calgary, do you hear a lot of rumors from the field? What advantage does being in Calgary have over being in NY, or some other city far from the oilpatch?

there are enough equity research associates in Calgary to maintain anonymity in a survey like this

no doubt a lot of rumors originate in the patch, but most of it is @$$#%!@

certainly there is some cache working in calgary covering canadian producers given the proximity to the action, ex. headquarters/rumor mill...
