Is using nitin_CFA as a profile name in violation of CFA regulations?
Can ‘CFA’ never be used in an internet alias or pseudonym?

^I disagree with this.
You can use CFA in an internet forum where you properly identify yourself.
The Schweser example states “….because teh name hides the members’ identity”
What if he uses “Mike Walker, CFA” - To me, that’s ok.
Should it not be acceptable? Why not?

the only example we have is page 174, and “Crazy Bear CFA”.
“Charterholders should not attach the CFA designation to anonymous or ficticious names meant to conceal their identity”
The other problem is that an alias usually doesn’t allow whitespace.
So you can’t open a “Mike Walker, CFA” twitter handle or AF name. @MikeWalkerCFA is probably a violation due to the missing whitespace.
However for a linked-in profile it might be OK since there is no concealment?
