Exam Reschedule

Hello Guys I am planning to take my CFA level 1 on june 2012 but if somehow I dont manage to prepare properly do you think that i can reschedule my exam? How much do i have to pay if I end up rescheduling my exam? Thanks

No refunds. The only exception I’ve ever heard of given is someone in active military pulled away. Other than something like that, no chance

yup. CFA institute do offers case-by-case deferrals, based on medical emergencies of the candidate or immediate family members. I would suggest, give the exam no matter what. atleast study for some time. go for the online videos by schweser, and give the exam. it would be a nice experience, and who knows, you mite have to register for Level 2 in july (that is u pass the level 1). Also, I would suggest giving level 1 in june, because if you will give level 1 in december 2012, you will get your result in january, and you will have less time for level 2 prep, and level 2 is somewhat tougher than level 1.
