I have seen a few people saying 6 weeks until the results are out. The CFAI web site says within 90 days and a guy I spoke to outside the exam hall said level 1 took 5 months last year..... just so you are prepared.

Its going to be a long agonising wait.

Level 1 results were out last year by 20th of July.
 
... and last year's December test had results out around mid-Jan as I recall, well short of 90 days.

L-I Result anytime on or after 17th July 2007(Tuesday is fav date of CFAI)

I�m preparing for a fail. So I might as well start studying now. I will be reviewing ethics and econ this weekend. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Yes sportsfan I second that... Ahhh I hope I PASSED!!!
 
I have glanced some level 2 book in library. The material of ethics is pretty much the same. So, no harm to study it again.
 
You guys all seem convinced, hope you are right.
 
Makes you wonder why isn't it possible for a place that makes over $100 million in revenue to grade a multiple choice exam in a reasonably short time!

As mentioned multiple number of times, grading doesn't take much time. It's the setting of cut off and the analysis of the exam which eats away the time!
 
well which ever time that it comes all i'm waitng for is that i can start preparing for LII

Let's see. One week to check the answer sheets and to make sure that the optical reader has not messed up. One week to bring out the various statistics, one to ponder on them and another one to discuss them. The final week to publish the results.
They would rather be cautious and slow than increase their probability to commit a mistake.
