I learned this last yr from another candidtate’s post, just wanted to share the tip for the AM session.
when you finish each question in the AM session quickly flip back to the front page Table of Contents and put a check mark next to that question. (i am a retaker and i found this very helpful on test day).
this is why it’s important: a friend of mine took L3 last yr with me. he did not learn and/or do this trick. he completely missed an entire question (Asset Allocation) because he finished the previous question and flipped too many pages. not only was it heartbraking when he realized this, but it was even worse when he realized it was the easiest set of questions in the AM session. luckily, he made up for it in other areas and still passed, but the 12 weeks waiting was a very angry and frustrating experience for him.
so, as much as i hope each of you fails so it helps me pass, i really don’t. i want everyone on this forum to have a leg up on everyone else. i would recommend doing this - at least try it as you’re going through mocks to test it out. the last thing you want it to miss an ENTIRE question on test day.

Just double check that the question number you’re on = (1 + last question number)

you should double check your profile, it says you’re a Level 1 candidate. You should make sure it = (the previously level you completed + 1)

Actually it should equal (level you are currently registered for). Or else I wouldn’t actually be a CFA candidate.

isn’t that what i pretty much said? i know this is wasting 28 seconds of my life, but felt a reply was necessary.
either way, i was just trying to help other test takers. if you didn’t like the advice, no need to reply in the first place.

Thanks for your advice. I will take note on that. dont bother others’ comments.

You are the kind bunch
not sure if that’s a jab or a compliment. either way, thanks!

I warm up to people with OCD. I dig them.
Overdoing a thing, they know it’s wrong to overdo their thing, and still they do it.
They put a smile on my face. They’re very huggable

Wow, congrats to your friend for still passing. That guy must have really known his stuff

he knew enough, yes.
not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad thing, we compared section scores after getting the results; overall, he did better than i did in 1 section (factoring in the pts/weights of the sections, we figured i was about 3-4 questions off from passing)…. he passed, i failed Band 9. it’s that close.
